Sculptural seat Sculptural seat

Net seat. A joint commission between Tweed Rivers Interpretation Project and The Castlegate Heritage Trail Project. The bench is situated below the ruins of a castle, against the backdrop of a river. It was designed as a reminder of the salmon netting industry, which once flourished, but now there is little trace left.
Galvanized + painted hot forged mild steel with elmwood seat.
